An NSS unit of our college started functioning from June 1970. The unit provides scope for the student-volunteers to participate in such social works as environmental cleaning, running literacy centre for the illiterate and coaching classes for poor school boys of the locality, relief work, gardening etc. This unit conducted several activities during the academic year '2010-2011'. Now this unit is going to conduct some training programme, awareness campaigning, value education programme and medical service for the local people under the aegis of Bose House Campus.
